Protecting Your Investment
High-concentration perfumes are delicate compositions of volatile top notes, essential oils, and aromatic fixatives. Exposure to heat, light, and humidity can degrade the chemical bonds, causing citrus notes to sour and floral nuances to fade.
1. Keep Away from Direct Sunlight
UV radiation accelerates chemical degradation. Store your bottles inside a wardrobe, dark drawer, or in their original luxury presentation boxes.
2. Avoid Bathroom Storage
Bathrooms experience drastic swings in temperature and humidity with every hot shower. This humidity can penetrate the spray nozzle seal and oxidize the perfume oil.
3. Keep at Room Temperature
A cool, dry closet (between 18°C and 23°C) is ideal. There is no need to freeze your fragrances; simply keep them away from radiators or sun-drenched window sills.
